World Heritage Tourism - Heritage Adventure Tours

Every year UNESCO adds new destinations, places and attractions to their list of World Hertitage sites. Many of these fit into the Adventure Travel Genre.

They include cultural adventures where you explore the past and its effect todays lifestyles, people and culture. People, place, history and culture are exciting to explore and heritage includes all of that and more. Many of the UNESCO World Heritage sites are natural phonemina like mountains, volcanoes, marine features as well as parks, and reserves preserved by human intervention. these fit the bill for the other aspect of adventure travel which is nature:

Our focus on reviewing the list is to choose destination and sites that fit into our definition of adventure. That is it must cover covers at least two of Activity, Nature and Culture. On a quick glance it is clear that many of the World Heritage sites fit the bill as an adventure travel destination and a perfect place to visit for a cultural and nature related getaways or active holiday. In addition to being a UNESCO World Heritage designated place we look for places that are fun and exciting to visit for a holidays. A place where one can lean about culture, nature and heritage as well as have fun, explore new things, see new sights and relax on vacation.

We have started with Dominica and Barbados in the Caribbean and Nova Scotia In Canada. We are very familiar with these destination and invite you to explore them.
